The light is beginning to return – which looks good, especially with the white snow-cover. This is also enjoyed by guests in the garden. Although, with respect to the work in area 7, the snow must soon melt in order for work in the new area to begin – the beds must be subsoiled and cultivated; the soil in some of the beds must also be ‘improved’ to accommodate the desired plants.
