Week 7
It is looking brighter in Bangsbo in many ways – the days are lengthening noticeably and when we are blessed with a bit of sunshine, it’s really great. After the sun goes down, one can walk around the new area lit-up by ‘Bysted-lamps’.
The persistent frost has also enabled dredging of the moat – Frederikshavn council is responsible for this task and large machines are needed – in some places the mud to be removed is a meter deep but the work is getting done and hopefully the frost will persist in the ground another week.
There is a lively traffic around The Gardener House – a variety of large and small birds are delighted by the sunflower seeds laid out on the bird-feeding table for them.
