Even here in November, there are exciting things to look at in the Garden. Many different fruits on trees and shrubs light up in most of the gardens.
The Botanical Garden has just received the annual donation from the Circle of Friends, which this year amounts to as much as DKK 40,000. We have then decided to spend the nice money on a beautification of the southernmost part of the new area – Denmark’s Wild Plants. For many years we have lacked a place for materials – bark chips, sand, castle gravel, stable gravel, stones, trunks, rubbish bins, etc., and we get that now, a bit hidden away behind a massive wall of granite curbs. We have had the curbs in stock for many years, but it takes a lot of work to get them put in place, but we are more than half done.
