The large curbstone wall in the southernmost part of Denmark’s Wild Plants has now been completed, and the remaining (many) straight curbs must then be stacked again, and stable gravel must be laid between the two boundaries. A planting behind the curb wall is on the drawing board if it succeeds in getting the columnar trees that are desired.
The garden as such is now in winter hibernation – all bonsai are now set down on the “floor” of the bonsai house and covered with leaves. And then the lights in the Christmas trees are on. As something new, there is also light in the large pine tree in Denmark’s Wild Plants, and then there are only a good three weeks until the light begins to return very slowly.
