Week 18
The large half-rotten beech tree at Spaltebedet has now been cut down dramatically so that it does not pose a danger to visitors. But such a beech crown takes up a lot of space when it comes down and lies in a pile.
Otherwise, it is about to be dry again, and all new plantings in Denmark’s Wild Plants have been thoroughly watered through. The sunny daytime hours “entice” many plants to bloom, whereas the rather cool night hours slow down the growth a bit.
We then enter the month of May, where there are many preparations for this year’s anniversary festival – 25 years, and that indicates a certain degree of success.
And then Bonsai Kita has again visited both with exhibition plants and good labor for pruning and lacing the Garden’s bonsai.
