Still very wet in the garden, and apparently there will be more of the same in the near future. The witch hazel is on its way, and the buds of the Easter bells are also coming up. Looking closely at old trunks, there are interesting mushrooms to look at, even if it’s not exactly mushroom season right now.

Birdlife is also worth watching – cormorants are wiping their wings, and chickadees and greenfinches are feasting on seeds from the alder trees.
