The weather is now warm, but no rain, and it doesn’t look like there will be any rain in the coming week, so it may well be that the irrigation system needs to be opened. The rhododendron bloom is in full swing, just as the wonderfully fragrant Daphne – Pepper bushes in the Crevice Bed light up tremendously. But everything is framed by the newly emerged beech forest, and it is beautiful.

The new compost site has been completed, so it won’t be long now before we are self-sufficient in compost.
