The 10 beds are laid out in different sizes with a total area of approximately 150 m2. Old granite curbstones in various designs have been used as edges on the beds.\n<\/p><p class=\"bde-f-text-2818-128 bde-f-text bbh-body\">\nTree peonies, silk peonies, country roses and some of the relatively new Itoh hybrids have been planted here. The Itoh hybrids were bred by the Japanese gardener Toichi Itoh in 1948.<br>They are crosses between tree peonies and perennial peonies, and they are distinguished by having large flowers that sit above the foliage and are long-flowering and hardy. The large variety of species and varieties ensures a long flowering period during the summer period, to the delight of the Garden&#039;s visitors.\n<\/p><p class=\"bde-f-text-2818-129 bde-f-text bbh-body\">\nBetween the peonies, spherical yews have been planted, so that there is something green in the beds even in winter. 10 climbing plant stands have been set up between the peonies, and autumn-flowering Clematis has been planted in the stands.\n<\/p><\/div><\/main>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For at tilf\u00f8je Haven yderligere en sev\u00e6rdighed i form af en st\u00f8rre plantesamling er der etableret en afdeling forbeholdt p\u00e6oner.
