Yesterday, members of A-Plant 2000 Aps visited, which is an association of Danish and an American nursery, whose purpose is to develop new plants, especially with a focus on plant health and climate tolerance for the benefit of garden owners and landscapers in particular. The plants are sold under the brand name Nor\u00f0\u00eec\u00ae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The now deceased, former research leader Poul Erik Brander was deeply involved in the work for many years, and the members of A-Plant were able to see the Poul Erik Brander collection in Bangsbo Botanical Garden, which gave rise to many admiring comments about the work in the Garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And there is a lot to look at \u2013 there are colors, scents and bird calls everywhere, so you are welcomed into the summer garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bangsbo Botanical Garden Friends' Circle and Bonsai Kita, Aalborg hosted a workshop on bonsai on Sunday. There were 23 people registered for the course, and there were participants from Viborg, N\u00f8rresundby, Sindal and of course from the local area. The weather was good, and from start to finish there was high spirits and deep concentration on the subject. Izhar Ferztand and Michael Baastrup from Bonsai Kita were experts in the field, and were busy with advice after the first presentation. Everyone got a "foundation" to work on, and they cut and laced according to Japanese traditions. Suitable tools were also presented, ranging from an old toothbrush to more special cutting tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
