The colors of fall are slowly beginning to appear on the trees and shrubs—a sign that the plants will soon go dormant for the winter, which is only natural given the dwindling daylight and lower temperatures. Still, there are flowers to be found, and if you love mushrooms, there are now plenty of species to discover after the rain. Remember, if you’re not sure of the species, leave it alone!!

Another event about Frederikshavn native Hulda Lütken (1896–1946) at Bangsbo Botanical Garden. Member of Parliament Christina Lykke named and planted a rose in memory of the poet, who was among the most recognized and popular Danish authors, especially in the 1930s. The idea came from Knytnæven—the Literary Society for Hulda Lütken.
