Week 27 - 28
The queen of flowers in full bloom
Despite a somewhat harsh spring for the roses as well as for many other woody plants, it is now quite certain that you can enjoy the sight of the symphony of colors of the roses, the shape and scent of the flowers, and the plants’ diversity in foliage and growth habit in the Botanical Garden. The garden’s permanent staff and members of the Circle of Friends have made a great effort to ensure that the plants recover from the harsh spring frosts and can be enjoyed again in the summer months.
In all the other gardens, there is also a wealth of flowers that can inspire new gardens or simply be enjoyed from one of the benches.
