The rainy weather and favourable daytime temperatures have melted most of the snow, but now it is rumoured that winter weather with snow showers may return – and then the pictures will fit again. Spring is not just around the corner, even though the day length has increased by 40 minutes – it shows. The blackbirds have figured it out – they have started chasing each other, and a few sparrow hawks can be heard in the bushes.
