Just now – week 40

Week 40

Then it rained – and that’s what we’ve been looking for. 67 mm in week 39, so I think we can manage a bit. The abundant rain has meant that the mushroom season has really got underway, and if you’re interested, now’s the time to get out into the garden and the countryside – there are lots of species to look at. And Karel and our intern have been planting lots of bulbs, which of course indicates that now is the time to plant flower bulbs that will bring joy in the spring.

Hopefully it can for all those who visited the Sunday bulb market in the Garden – slightly fewer visitors than last year, but there was a good turnover especially of the rarer bulbs.
