Just now – week 38

Week 38

There has been abundant rain for the thirsty plants, so that the water hoses will be allowed to lie down for the rest of the year. The temperature is probably also returning to normal for the season – it’s seasonally an autumn month we are in.

The intense work of weeding in the area of Denmark’s Wild Plants is now yielding results – the many sown Danish wild plants in the various theme beds are now coming into their own and are flourishing diligently.
Bark chips are now being distributed in the beds with plants from Poul Erik Brander – it hopefully keeps some of the weeds in check – at least the annuals.

In the near future, drains will be made along the paths in Denmark’s Wild Plants – heavy rain simply destroys the paths.
