Summer is still here—albeit with quite a bit of wind—but we’ve had quite a bit of rain, so manual watering has been put on hold for a while. And when the sun shines, there’s a lot of insect activity in the plants whose flowers contain plenty of nectar.
It’ll be interesting to see if the weather changes to cooler and more unpredictable conditions, but I suspect the insects’ activity will continue for a while longer—which is great for pollinating the plants.
