Big things are happening in the Medicinal Herb Garden at the moment. Rotary Bangsbostrand and the Friends of the Botanical Garden have donated money to convert the Sansehaven into a dedicated herb garden, which will be constructed in the same style as the existing Medicinal Herb Garden with beds of robinia. The work will take place over the summer and will be carried out when volunteers can dedicate time to the work. So far, the foundation has been laid with the relocation of the Sansehavens beds and plants.

Spring is upon us with real April weather – cold and night frosts characterise the weather forecast, which is also showing its nice side with sunshine. The beech has sprouted in selected places, so I wonder if the rest will follow when the warm weather arrives…..
