The plant sale has reopened, and the stream pump has delivered water to the canals, but will not be in continuous operation until next week – there are still many leaves blowing around.
It's dry everywhere now, so maybe the promised rain this weekend can provide some water for the thirsty plants – maybe that's right, but the water hoses are laid out to the Garden's taps, so we're prepared.
