About the garden Information

If you would like to know more about the work of the Circle of Friends, or if you would like to support Bangsbo Botanical Garden by becoming a member of the Circle of Friends, please contact one of the board members.

A small group of Friends are also active in the Garden with various practical tasks. Wednesday evenings from May to October 6–9 p.m., and Friday mornings from 9:30 a.m., there will always be an opportunity to meet someone from the board. As a volunteer, there are no obligations; each person decides for themselves what they want to contribute.

PS. The first Wednesday in May always starts with a tour of the Garden at 6 pm.

Minutes of the general meeting March 26, 2025

General meeting of the Bangsbo Botanical Garden Friends' Circle. Attendance: 26 members.

  1. Election of conductor: Hans Henrik Jensen elected.
  2. Chairman's report: Inger's report approved.
  3. Accounting and budget: Steen reviewed the accounts for 2024, which balance with a "small deficit". Approved. Budget for 2025 approved. Expected transfer to BBHF 33,000 DKK.
  4. Determination of quota for 2026: Unchanged, that means DKK 125/175/500.
  5. Suggestions received: Nothing to decide.
  6. Determination of board members in 2025: Continues unchanged with 5 elected members.
  7. Election of board members: Re-election of Bent Christiansen, Henning Kristiansen and Steen Horshauge.
  8. Election of 2 alternates: Re-election of Jonna Holm Stabel and new election of Birgit Olsen.
  9. Election of auditors: Re-election of Jytte Tved and Hans Henrik Jensen.
  10. Conclusion: Inger thanked the conductor. This was followed by a photo show by Herluf about the project with the medicinal and herb garden, cheese tapas and a chat.
