Big things are happening in the Medicinal/Herb Garden at the moment. Rotary Bangsbostrand and the Botanic Garden Friends have donated money to convert the Sensual Garden into a dedicated herb garden, which will be constructed in the same style as the already existing Medicinal/Herb Garden with beds of robinia. The work will last over the summer, and will be carried out when the volunteers can set aside time for the work. So far, the foundation has been created by moving the Sensual Garden's beds and plants.
Spring is upon us with real April weather – cold and night frosts dominate the weather forecast, but there are also some sunny days. The beech has sprouted in selected places, so I wonder if the rest will follow when the heat comes….
