The large, half-rotten beech tree by the Spaltbedet has now been dramatically cut down so that it does not pose a danger to visitors. But such a beech crown takes up a lot of space when it comes down and lies in a pile. Otherwise, it is getting dry again, and all new plantings in Denmark's Wild Plants have been watered thoroughly. The sunny daytime hours "lure" many plants to bloom, whereas the rather cool night hours slow down growth a bit. We then enter the month of May, where there are many preparations for this year's anniversary festival - 25 years, and that indicates a certain degree of success. And then Bonsai Kita has visited again with both exhibition plants and good labor for pruning and tying the Garden's bonsai.
