The weather has now become warm, but no rain, and it doesn't look like there will be any rain in the coming week, so it may be that the irrigation system will have to be opened. The rhododendrons are in full bloom, just as the wonderfully fragrant Daphne - Pepper bushes in the Splatbedet are really brightening up. But everything is framed by the newly sprouted beech forest, and it's beautiful.
The new compost site has been completed, so it won't be long before we are self-sufficient in compost.
