On Wednesday afternoon, the work of extending the rose pergola was completed, and now with the approx. 70 m long pergola, cohesion has been created between the old park with the Rose Garden and the new Danish Wild Plants. This is also illustrated by the fact that a row of 'Kew Gardens' roses has now been planted on the slope between the two areas. Similar to the "old" pergola, rose beds will be made between the posts and boxwood will be planted as a back edge.
And so we are entering the Christmas month, and have therefore lit the Christmas tree at the Gardener's House. The large Gunnera – Mammoth Leaf – are now being packed away for the winter – the night frost left its mark on the leaves.
Depending on the weather, the plan is also to establish 3 new seating/recreation areas with curbs in the style of Ellen's wall, but not in exactly the same size.
