Right now, major changes are taking place in the area that has served as a parking lot at previous Flower Festivals, but has always been called Area 7 – Denmark's Wild Plants.

Bangsminde Machine Station, with trencher driver Jørgen at the helm, is currently digging out paths – lighting cables are being laid, and during the week the lamp posts will be installed at the designated locations. The work can be followed closely if you cross the bridge from De Botaniske Anlæg.

Drone photographer Carsten Thomasen has immortalized the work from the air.
