Fortunately, Storm Otto moved on without causing any major damage, and we managed to clean up the park after the linden avenue was blown down, so there were no stray branches from this part.
Bulbous plants in the form of snowdrops and erantis are showing flowers in many places now, and the relatively warm winter temperatures are stimulating many other plants – especially the yellow witch hazel in the Winter Flowering Bed is industrious.
